Every product is made by East African artisans (most of whom are women responsible for supporting their entire family) in the comfortable and safe setting of a co-op in their community. We carefully selected these talented artisans and the sustainable materials they use—fabric woven from the pulp of the kukui nut and beads sourced locally.This work has opened a new trade route through which you can enjoy the beautiful and unique designs of East Africa, and East African women benefit from a larger marketplace for their hand crafted products. In addition, a percentage of the sales go to the charity organization LEND a HAND UGANDA–USA.
For over thirty years, I have used my humor, my spirituality, and my life experience to help people overcome obstacles. I have also used my photography to inspire people, to bring them comfort, and help them see what they had not seen. My mission is to help people reconnect on a spiritual level, move toward their bliss, and enjoy the wonderful experience of a spirit within a body.

WASHINGTON SQUARE OUTDOOR ART EXHIBIT
A twice-a-year happening every Memorial Day Weekend and the weekend that follows and every Labor Day Weekend and the weekend that follows that. The event showcases fine artists and craft artisans from around the New York metropolitan area, the nation and the world. Attendees come from all over and are a cosmopolitan mix, including art lovers, tourists, faculty and students from the area's many schools and professionals such as interior designers.
