Raven Maldonado-Brown is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in private practice and has worked in the social service and counseling field for over 10 years. Raven has extensive experience as a counselor in community-based agencies and has also worked in an alternative high school and in collaboration with schools to effectively counsel adolescents and their families. As a bilingual clinician, Raven has devoted a significant portion of her work to providing counseling services to Spanish-speaking adults, adolescents, and children, and specializes in working with families to develop healthy communication and interaction. Her experience also includes working with children and families around issues of domestic violence, trauma, parent-child conflict, marital conflict, anxiety, and depression. Raven incorporates the principles of mindfulness and meditation into her practice as well.

The Village Alliance works with area residents, businesses, cultural and academic institutions to ensure the Central Village continues to grow and succeed. Our mission is to enhance the neighborhood’s quality-of-life by creating a cleaner, safer and more enjoyable environment. Among the programs we provide are supplemental public safety and sanitation services, graffiti removal, economic development and community revitalization, facade improvement, marketing and promotions, streetscape enhancements and landscaping, tourist information and free walking tours over the summer.
Solar 1 is New York City's only self-sustaining solar powered building. It houses educational facilities for Solar One, a non-profit organisation concerned with green energy, arts, and education.
