FRIENDS OF THE HIGHLINE
Founded in 1999 by community residents, Friends of the High Line fought for the High Line’s preservation and transformation at a time when the historic structure was under the threat of demolition. It is now the nonprofit conservancy working with the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation to make sure the High Line is maintained as an extraordinary public space for all visitors to enjoy.

Conceived as an artistic and working home, the Herbert Berghof Studio offers an outlet for practice and growth for the professional theatre artist, and an opportunity for the young to establish roots in their intended craft. WASHINGTON SQUARE PARK CONSERVANCY
The Washington Square Park Conservancy (WSPC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to keeping historic Washington Square Park a diverse and historical urban green that is clean, safe and beautiful. The Conservancy works together with the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation to maintain the park now and for many years to come.
